What is AR (Augmented Reality)?
Augmented Reality (AR) is a technology that overlays digital information and virtual objects onto the real world, typically through the camera view of a smartphone, tablet, or wearable device. Unlike virtual reality (VR), which immerses users in a completely virtual environment, AR enhances the real-world environment by adding computer-generated elements to it in real-time.
What is Geolocation within AR?
Geolocation within AR refers to the integration of geographic location data with augmented reality experiences. This technology combines GPS (Global Positioning System) or other location-tracking methods with AR to anchor virtual content or information to specific real-world locations. By utilising geolocation, AR applications can provide contextually relevant experiences that are tailored to the user’s physical surroundings. This enables users to interact with virtual objects or receive location-based information as they navigate through the real world using their mobile devices or AR glasses.
How does the “Invisible Worlds AR App” work?
The app utilises AR technology to overlay digital content onto the user’s real-world environment. By simply pointing their device’s camera at various objects or locations, users can reveal hidden information, animations, or simulations that would otherwise be invisible to the naked eye.
Is the “Invisible Worlds AR App” available for download?
Yes, the “Invisible Worlds AR App” is available for download on compatible mobile devices. Users can access the app through app stores and begin exploring the invisible worlds that surround them right from their smartphones or tablets.
